What Do We Believe?
About God?
God is the Maker and Leader of everything, existing forever in three parts: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are one God, all equal in power and nature. (Deut. 6:4; Phil. 2:6)
About Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is equal to God the Father and the Holy Spirit. He lived a sinless life on earth, sacrificing Himself for the redemption of all humanity. After conquering death, He ascended to Heaven and will return one day to reign as the ultimate King over all. (John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:14)
About Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit, who is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son, enlightens individuals about their need for Jesus, resides within those who believe, imparts strength, discloses divine wisdom, provides direction, and supports followers of Christ in pursuing a holy lifestyle. With the desire to align with His will, believers strive to heed His direction each day. (John 14:16; John 15:26)
About Human Beings?
People are created in the image of God, reflecting His characteristics. We hold a unique position in the eyes of God and are capable of accomplishing acts of goodness. However, we are born with an attitude of sin. When we engage in sin, which involves turning away from God, our nature is altered, distancing us from Him and resulting in various challenges throughout our lives.
About the Bible?
The Bible is God’s Word to us, providing guidance and wisdom for all aspects of life. Written by human authors under the divinity of Holy Spirit's influence, it stands as the ultimate source of truth for Christian faith and living. Its divine inspiration ensures its complete accuracy and reliability in conveying God's message to humanity. It is 100% truth. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
About Salvation?
Salvation is a free gift from God that He offers to us out of His grace and love. It is something we must accept with humility and gratitude, acknowledging that our good works alone cannot erase the mistakes and sins we have committed. By trusting in Jesus and the sacrifice He made for us, we can receive forgiveness for our sins and find peace in our hearts. This act of faith enables us to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, drawing closer to Him each day. The promise of eternal life becomes a reality the moment we place our trust in Jesus, bringing us hope and transformation from the inside out. (2 Cor. 7:10; John 3:3–5; 1 John 5:12).
About Eternity?
People were created by God to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places and every person will spend eternity in one of them. (Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19-20)
About Our Lives on Earth ?
SANCTIFICATION—The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return (Heb. 12:14; 1 Thess. 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; 2 Cor. 3:18; Phil. 3:12–14; 1 Cor. 1:30).
DIVINE HEALING—Healing for the body's sickness is done by God's power through faith-filled prayer and laying on of hands. It's part of Christ's atonement and available to all believers now (James 5:14,15; Mark 16:18; Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).
